Nutrient injections

A technician preparing a nutrient injection at a tree

Sometimes a tree needs a boost — the same way many of us take a vitamin in the morning.

Our soils are short of iron and manganese in a form trees can use, and the signs are familiar: yellow leaves with green veins on a maple, a thin crown on a pin oak that should be full. A nutrient injection delivers those micronutrients straight into the trunk, where the tree can use them within weeks.

It is a complement to deep root fertilization, not a replacement — one treats the soil, the other treats the tree. Which one your tree needs is something an inspection settles in a few minutes.
