Stump grinding
With three sizes of grinder to choose from, we can get the stump out of a front yard, a fenced backyard or a narrow side yard.
A stump left behind will sprout, invite insects, and get in the way of whatever you want to do with the space. Grinding takes it down well below grade and turns it into mulch you can leave in place or have us haul.
We carry three grinders so the right machine fits the job: a large unit for open ground, a mid-size for most yards, and a compact one that fits through a standard gate. Before we grind, we locate utilities; after, we backfill the hole with the grindings or with soil if you plan to plant or seed.
Stump grinding is usually quoted with a removal, but we grind stumps from other people’s removals too.
